When the GROOVE Doctors play at events we hire T2E Studios for our sound & lights needs. Terry Tuohy owns the company and he is often our sound engineer, but sometimes Terry is playing drums with his band Rodeo House and on most of those nights he hires Brandon Kersis to run sound for the Doctors. This last Saturday when the Dr’s played a wedding at the Vine Hill House in Sebastopol, CA neither Terry nor Brandon were available, so Terry hired Doug Marscardo of Suite G Productions to provide sound & light.

A band really gets used to their own sound engineer and the Dr’s had never worked with Doug before, so frankly we didn’t know what to expect. Boy, were we pleasantly surprised. Doug brought along Andrew to help him with the sound & lights duties and these two guys were AWESOME! Not only were they professional, they had great gear plus backup gear in case something went wrong with the important items. They were also extremely competent and on top of that, they were two of the nicest people you will ever meet.

In addition to the being a sound engineer Doug does DJ work and he is also the lead guitarist in the Floorshakers, and cover band much like the GROOVE Doctors with multiple lead singers and a horn section. Suite G Productions has a recording studio based in Oakley, CA that Doug’s partner runs.
