The GROOVE Doctors have been one of the premier dance party bands in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2000. The Doctors have played over 350 events since their inception varying from corporate functions, wedding receptions, birthday celebrations, anniversary celebrations, fundraisers, Bar Mitzvahs & Bat Mitzvahs, night clubs, festivals and good old fashioned house parties where the hosts just wanted good music. One thing, though, has been a common factor for all of these events….The GROOVE Doctors ALWAYS get people dancing.

One reason the Dr’s always get people dancing is that we have a song list full of great songs to dance to. I know that sounds simple, but if you play a song that makes people want to get up and dance, there is a really good chance they are going to do so. The Dr’s play Home Run Dance Hits including Motown & Soul from the 60′s, Classic Rock and Disco/Funk from the 70′s, 80′s & 90′s Rock plus brand new current Top 40 hits. Of course, we also know ballads when it is time to slow it down as well as Standards, Swing, Jazz and Latin for when we play a Cocktail Hour or Dinner set.

A few other reasons the GROOVE Doctors always get people dancing is that the band has fun while we play and that is contagious, and we interact with the audience. So the band is having fun and we help bring the audience along in the good times.
